In April of 1865, Charles J. Colchester, a shady character of a man, met Abraham Lincoln and warned him that his life was in danger; a few days later Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, was shot in the head. Charles J. Colchester was a friend of John Wilkes Booth. 

Lincoln’s Secretaries, John G. Nicolay and John Hay commented on the incident; “But he had himself so sane a mind and a heart so kindly, even to his enemies, that it was hard for him to believe in a political hatred so deadly as to lead to murder.”

Every person you meet has a story to tell, you simply have to open the door and listen.

How many times have you heard, “Always move forward, never look back”? The people who so easily uttered these words, obviously missed the greatest race of all time.

In the morning the coffee gets made, a task that has become a pleasure to do. A brief photo journey through my process follows the story of how I got hooked.

If money was no problem for you, what would you buy for your child? Would it be a new car? Would it be the latest gaming system? Would it be full tuition at a university?

A predator will often move about seemingly without purpose, but he is fixated on the people around him, he’s looking. This behavior sets him apart from everyone else and makes it easier to spot him.

I did not learn these survival principles from Jeff Cooper and Jeff Cooper did not invent them. These principles have been around since the beginning of mankind. Jeff Cooper was nice enough to remind us that they work.
