A Ride Etched in Eternity.

How many times have you heard, “Always move forward, never look back”? The people who so easily uttered those words, obviously missed the greatest race of all time.

A long, good life of 64 years and the few moments that will stay with me till the day I die are ,,, Watching with my family as Neil Armstrong stepped out of Apollo 11 onto the moon. Looking into the face of my son for the very first time, in the jungle of Vietnam. Meeting the most beautiful woman in the world, in a land far away. Then there was watching Ron Turcotte as he looked back over his shoulder that day in 1973 as Secretariat rode into Eternity.

Rest in peace Mr. Turcotte and give Big Red a hug from all of us.
